Cleaning Operative (DRIVER)
Coxhead Cleaning Services are currently recruiting for a Cleaning Operative (DRIVER).
This role is to begin in January 2026. Please note that our offices will be closed from Christmas Eve and will reopen on 2 January. Interviews will be scheduled both before the Christmas closure and after we reopen.
The start times would be:
5 days a week: Monday – Friday 6.00am – 12 noon approximately (30 hour contract)
Overtime available between 12 noon – 2pm
£ – Salary is above minimum wage – age dependent – This is upon a successful completion of your probation.
A full clean driving licence is essential for this role. A clear criminal record is essential, an Enhanced DBS check will be carried out, and job offering will be subject to this. Full training and uniform will be provided. Must be able to work within a small team but be able to work on own initiative.

Summary
As a Cleaning Operative working early mornings, you will play an essential role in maintaining exceptional cleanliness and hygiene standards across both domestic properties and commercial facilities. Reporting to the Cleaning Manager, your core responsibilities will include cleaning, sanitising, and organising spaces to ensure a welcoming environment for clients. This role involves working as part of a team rather than working alone, and you will be expected to uphold the high standards for which our company is known. A valid driving licence is required, as you may need to travel between locations in the company vehicle. Strong communication skills, proficiency in English, and customer service experience will support your success in this position, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to an excellent standard.
Responsibilities
Perform cleaning duties in various locations during early morning hours, ensuring all areas meet hygiene standards.Drive to different sites as required, adhering to all safety regulations while operating the vehicle.Provide excellent customer service by being punctual and responsive to client needs and passing across information to the Cleaning Manager.Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any issues to management promptly.Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
