Coxhead Cleaning Services are recruiting for a Cleaning Operative (Driver) to join our daytime operations team.

This role involves driving between locations as part of the working day and supporting cleaning teams across a range of sites. The work is predominantly commercial, including offices and commercial premises, with some domestic support where required to assist the day team.

Working hours

• Monday to Friday
• 6:00am – 12:00 noon (approximately 30 hours per week)
• Overtime may be available between 12:00 noon and 2:00pm

The role

As a Cleaning Operative (Driver), you will play a key role in maintaining high cleaning standards across multiple locations. You will travel between sites in a company vehicle and carry out cleaning duties in line with agreed specifications. This is a team-based role and requires energy, reliability, and excellent attention to detail.

Key responsibilities

• Drive between locations during the working day using company vehicles and follow company driving procedures
• Support cleaning teams across multiple sites
• Carry out cleaning duties to specification, ensuring hygiene and presentation standards are met
• Work efficiently within agreed timeframes and contribute positively within a small team
• Use cleaning equipment and materials correctly and report any issues promptly
• Maintain a professional approach at all times on client premises
• Follow company policies and health and safety requirements

The successful candidate

• Full, clean UK driving licence (essential)
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and a consistent work ethic
• Clear criminal record required

An Enhanced DBS check will be carried out and any offer of employment will be subject to satisfactory clearance. Full training and uniform will be provided.

Pay

• Hourly rate above minimum wage, age dependent
• Rate subject to successful completion of probation
