Coxhead Cleaning Services are recruiting for a Morning Cleaning Operative to support early-day cleaning across a range of sites.

The work is predominantly commercial (including offices and commercial premises), with some domestic support where required to assist the day team.

This role may be offered on a term-time basis subject to operational requirements. Where offered as term-time, salary is calculated on a pro rata basis and paid in equal monthly instalments across 12 months, providing consistent income throughout the year.

Working hours

• Monday to Friday
• 6:00am – 10:00am

The role

You will deliver high cleaning standards during early morning hours, working efficiently to specification and supporting site readiness for the day ahead. This is an active, fast-paced role requiring reliability, energy, and excellent attention to detail.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out early morning cleaning duties to specification across assigned sites
• Maintain hygiene and presentation standards across commercial areas
• Use cleaning materials and equipment correctly and safely
• Work efficiently within agreed timeframes
• Report issues, defects, or supply shortages promptly
• Follow company policies and health and safety requirements

Requirements

• Reliable, punctual, and detail-focused
• Able to work independently and as part of a small team
• Clear criminal record required; DBS may be required depending on site

Pay

• Hourly rate above minimum wage, age dependent (or pro rata salary if offered as term-time)
• Rate subject to successful completion of probation
